8:00 am to 8:50 am classes

  REQUIRED 10 Principles of Success. This is a required class to be taken by all members during one of the class times in order to get participation patch and be elegible for any degrees.  
  CLS15 A candidates seminar - This is a 1 hr class designed for newly elected candidates. This class will cover the basics and opportunities that the OA has to offer.  
  CLS21 Finances and Fundraising - If the arrow isn't green the activities can't happen. How to make and keep your budget and how to do fundraising.  
  CLS24 Planning a wilderness and high adventure activity - Does your troop, team, or crew want to go on some wilderness or high adventure trips, but you have no idea how to go about it because the activity is something you have never done? This class will give you everything you need to be able to plan any activity you would like.    
  CLS43 Flag Etiquette *New Class (2 hours)  
  CNAC01 Basic outfitting with integrity - What is appropriate in your outfit for your style of dance or ceremony.

  CNAC04 Ribbon shirts - How to make a ribbon shirt and where to get the materials. Your instructor is Karen North  
  CNAC05 Chokers, breastplates, and bandoliers - How to make them and where to get the materials. Discussion on what is right for each of the styles of dance or ceremony. Your instructor is Craig Whiting  
  CNAC07 Pow wow etiquette - This class is for new dancers and spectators to familiarize them with what happens at a POWWOW and what is and is not acceptable while dancing. Your instructor is Zane Ward  
  CNAC12 Beading applique stitch (2 hour class)  (New class) Your instructor is Elizibeth Bowen  
  CNAC13 Wood flutes - Learn about flutes and how to play them. Your instructor is Dave Munford

  COS31 Dutch oven breakfast (2 hour class) - Learn how to make fabulous breakfast to start your day.

**Note: There is an extra $5 dollar charge because you get to eat what you learn to cook..

This is the class for you. Find out what foods you should be packing for high energy needed on your backpacking adventure. (no fee)

  CLS18 Planning for a successful event - Discussion on what is needed to plan and execute a successful event including how to create a 90 day plan.
 
 
  CLS23 How to be a successful adviser - teach Advisors how to help guide their youth to heights they didn’t know they could reach.  
  CLS27 History of the OA - Learn about the origins and historical facts of the OA -  
  CNAC02 Footwear - Different styles of moccasins will be discussed and how to make them. Your instuctors are Justing and Shirl Clawson  
  CNAC04 Ribbon shirts - How to make a ribbon shirt and where to get the materials. Your instructor is Karen North

  COS30 Care of your dutch oven - How to cure, clean, store and protect your Dutch oven for years of use  
  COS39 Setting a proper campsite - This class will teach the most effective way to set up your campsites
 
 
  COS40 Four seasons camping - Year round camping is a goal of all troops, teams and scouter's. This course will help you prepare for the weather and create an outing that youth will talk about for months.
 
 
  COS42 Centennial Geo caching - New Class

  REQUIRED 10 Principles of Success. This is a required class to be taken by all members during one of the class times in order to get participation patch and be elegible for any degrees.  
  CLS16 Chapter Leadership - Learn how to be an effective chapter leader through effective communication including a Roundtable Discussion for youth and adults. on guiding and supporting the youth.  
  CLS26 Attending the brotherhood  - Answer the question “Are you ready to seal your membership in the Order”? This class will prepare an Ordeal member for Brotherhood. (The ceremony will take place later in the day.)

**Note: You must attend this class to attend the brotherhood ceremony. You also must preregister with your lodge to purchase your new sash and give the lodges a count of people attending. If you have questions on this ceremony contact your specific lodge leadership.

  CNAC11 Team singing and drumming - Impress with your chapters or lodges very own drum team. Learn about the drum and the songs that go with it. Your instructors are Justin Allen & Travis Parker

  CNAC14 Brain tanning - Learn the basics of tanning hides using animal brain. Your instructor is Carrie Beckstead

  COS29 Advanced dutch oven (2 hour class) - This is the class for those who want to learn a little fancier way to impress those you serve.

  COS34 Back country safety and first aid - How to enjoy the back country and how to handle emergencies when they happen.  
  COS37 Dutch oven desserts (2 hour class) - How to cook world class desserts for your next camping adventure in a dutch oven

  CLS17 Teaching leadership skills through games - A fun and exciting way to learn new leadership skills. This class will reinforce great leadership.
 
 
  CLS20 Chapter building - Resources, training officers, scheduling, setup elections, visitations, and ordeals are some of the topics we will be going through to help you build your chapter.  
  CLS22 Becoming a world class leader - a great insight to the Advisor – Officer relationship with skits, examples, and discussion  
  CLS25 Building a ceremony team/Why ceremonies are vital - How to build and fine tune ceremony teams and why these ceremonies are vital to the success of your chapter and lodge.  
  CNAC06 Headwear - Bonnets, trailers, turbans, and roaches will be demonstrated and taught. Your instructor is Justin Barker
